Our Offices Remain Open

We are all aware of the public health concerns due to COVID-19, and our doctors, nurses, and staff remain committed to serving you and your family. We have updated some of our office procedures so we can continue to provide you with excellent care.

Updated Office Procedures to Keep You and Your Family Safe:

  1. Call us first if your child is feeling ill.
  2. If you have an appointment, please wait in the car when you arrive and we will call you when an exam room is ready. We’re doing this so we may have the room cleaned extensively and avoid unnecessary exposure.
  3. For your safety and the safety of our staff, we will greet you at the door with a mask and provide one to you and your child if needed based on symptoms.
  4. We will do our best to ensure your well baby and child are safe during the visit. We are conducting well visits and non-sick appointments in the mornings and are seeing sick patients later in the day to help in eliminating cross contact between sick and healthy patients. You may be asked to have a previously scheduled appointment moved to a different time.
  5. We are also offering telemedicine visits. Click here to learn more and call our office to find out if a televisit might be appropriate for your child.

What We Are Doing:

  1. We are following closely with Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) for updates on appropriate protocols for medical practices in regards to screening and care of our patients during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
  2. We have developed more detailed questionnaires to help triage our sick patients to help identify those who may be more at risk of infection.
  3. We are using preventative measures to help decrease risk to everyone in our office from other patients, to providers and staff. For example this may include the use of masks where appropriate and use of cleaning routines as outlined by the TDH and CDC.
  4. We have gathered materials needed so that we may send out testing for COVID-19.

What We Encourage Patients And Families To Do:

  • Wash your hands well.
  • Cover your cough.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces.
